comments = Hi, i would just like to know if Ms Dart-Thornton has actually completed her final draft/copy of "Weatherwitch", and if so, is there any possibility that the release date might change to an earlier time? or is it a question of the time-consuming process of publication and editing?
I'd like to add how much i fully enjoyed all of Ms Dart-Thornton's novels. Many thrills of joy experienced and many a heart-wrenching tear has been shed over the trials and tribulations of the characters- and also over the ending of a book!!
Thankyou!!!

Dear Veronica,
Many thanks for your message. Forgive me for not replying sooner; I have been mentally away in the land of Tir, busy polishing the WEATHERWITCH manuscript... Which rather answers your question! Yes, WEATHERWITCH is indeed completed in its rough draft form. Currently I am going through the usual process of making sure all loose threads are tied, all explanations are clear, and so forth. This is quite time-consuming (as you have guessed!) but enjoyable.

The publishers and printers need a long 'lead time' for the production of a book, which is why the release date is October 2006. Fortunately we are aiming for JUNE 2007 to release FALLOWBLADE, which means there will only be a shortish wait for it after WEATHERWITCH.

There is a chance a few 'teaser' clues might be put on my website shortly before WEATHERWITCH comes out, so keep an eye on the site. I know for a fact that the beautiful WEATHERWITCH cover is almost finished, so we shall be seeing that soon! Oh, and BTW, FALLOWBLADE is already completed in rough draft form. Kind regards and best wishes,
Cecilia

comments = To Ms Dart-Thornton,
I love all your books. They are the best things I've ever read. The Bitterbynde Triology is my favourite series of all time, I thought it was fantastic; fantasy and romance. The Iron Tree was brilliant, I couldn't put it down and when I reached the end I cried for half an hour. It was the most beautiful and romantic thing I have ever read; doomed lovers like Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. I really like the way you use riddles and borrow from mythology, your writing is very intelligent and I really like the detail you provide readers with. Thankyou for for writing such beautiful stories, I eagerly await the release of The Well of Tears.

comments = Ms Dart-Thornton, i began reading your bitterbynde trilogy only recently and it is by far one of the most compelling reads ive ever experienced. I find the ladies write better fantasy than the gents (my favourites are Weis & Hickman, Robin Hobb and of course you! The blokes like Eddings etc tend to summarize way too much and use the same old in every book!) Keep up that awsome writing!!! I cant wait to read your later books!!

Dear Ms. Dart-Thornton, Thank you very much for getting back to me so quickly! Sorry I didn't write you sooner. I finally got my friend to read your books and now she loves them too. She wasn't in to fanatsy and she dosen't like Lord of the Rings, so this was a good way for me to get her interested. Do you enjoy renaissance faires? Hopefully, my friends and I will go this year.
Thanks Again for your reply, I think your books would make great movies!

Thanks, Heidi
